New Way Diving is a family-owned dive centre, founded in 1999. Everyone in our shop is a passionate diver, and you will feel it in our courses, in the way our instructors teach and in the dive sites we choose every day.
We keep things relaxed, so you get the most out of your diving holiday: from your very first breath underwater to becoming a professional.
Our own traditional Thai boat
Our big wooden boat takes up to 40 people, with shade, a toilet and plenty of space for your gear. Every morning it goes to the deep sites, every afternoon to the reefs around the island.
Arguably the best diving in the Gulf of Thailand
More than 25 dive sites around Koh Tao, Sail Rock with its famous chimney, and whale sharks if you are lucky. Our guides keep it safe with a maximum of 4 divers each, and 15 litre tanks are available if you want to stay down longer.
Questions and answers
Do I need experience to try diving?
No. The Basic Diver is made for people who have never dived. You start with a short theory session and then dive with your instructor, never more than 4 people per instructor.
How does booking and paying work?
Book online and pay a small deposit to secure your place. You pay the rest at the shop in cash (THB), by bank transfer or by card (+4%).
Can I change my date?
Yes. You can move your booking for free up to the day before, as often as you like, within 1 year. The deposit is not refunded but stays valid. If the weather cancels your dive, you get a new date for free, or your deposit back if no date fits during your stay.
Is pick-up included?
Yes, free pick-up from your hotel anywhere on Koh Tao, except Cape Shark and Sai Daeng. Just tell us where you stay.
How old do I have to be?
From 10 years. Under 18, a parent signs the medical form. Some courses have a higher minimum age, for example 15 for the Advanced and the specialties.
